Brice Snyder, MSAT, ATC, OTC
Brice is originally from the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania. He graduated from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania with his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. He worked with local colleges and high schools throughout the Lehigh Valley. After graduating, he became a local to Virginia Beach while attending Old Dominion University for his graduate studies. He graduated from ODU with a Masters of Science in Athletic Training. Following is graduation, he moved to Colorado to complete an Athletic Training Fellowship. Brice attended The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado where he worked with world renowned orthopaedic surgeons. He advanced a wide ranging set of orthopaedic skills, making him integral to my practice today. He assists me with patient evaluations, surgical planning, post-op instructions, dictations, rehabilitation plans and communicating with patients from out of the area. He enjoys golfing and helping people stay active and athletic!
Jennifer Rascoe, NP-C
Jenn is a local from the Virginia Beach and Hampton Roads area. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she received her undergraduate degree in Nursing. She later returned to VCU where she completed her Masters degree as a Nurse Practitioner. She has been working with Dr. Carofino and Atlantic Orthopaedic Specialists for the past 2 years.
Tammy English, Secretary
Tammy is a “Sunshine State” native where she graduated from medical assisting school in Jacksonville, Florida in the early 2000’s. She has now been a Virginia resident for 4.5years and 1.5years of that time working specifically for Dr. Carofino. She has a combined 16years experience in the medical field including the fields of Primary Care, Cardiac/Pulmonary, Hematology/Oncology, OB/GYN, Plastic surgery, dermatology and now Orthopaedics. Tammy is an integral part to the practice as she fields wide ranging questions from patients, helps organize and manage the surgical schedule, and aids in completing and expediting patient paperwork. She enjoys being a lyrical songwriter and music.
Donna Sawyer, Medical Assistant
Donna has been with Dr. Carofino for the past 4 years and in orthopaedics for the past 10+ years. She is essential in running our clinic days with rooming patients, gather their information, prepping charts, fielding patient questions and helping code patient injuries.
